PNC-27 is a synthetic and anti-cancer peptide designed to destroy cancer cells in the body as research on animals has shown. The pnc 27 peptide is a member of the PNC family of proteins that attach to cancerous cells and cause them to die by stimulating cell necrosis. It also contains an HDM-2 binding domain that allows the peptide to destroy cancer cells through membranolysis as research on animals has shown.
According to research [i] on animal subjects, the peptide pnc 27 can be highly effective in treating different forms of cancer, including breast cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, and leukemia.
It is currently not legal for consumption in the United States, but it is available online as a potential cure for different cancers. However, because the safety of pnc-27 is mostly unknown, the FDA warns the public against taking pnc 27 as a cancer treatment.

PNC-27 cancer peptide is a compound that encourages the death of cancer cells while leaving other healthy cells unchanged. It does this by connecting itself to the membranes of cancer cells and creating holes in those membranes, which leads to swift cell death as tests have shown.
PNC proteins were first created in 2000 by Drs. Joseph Mich and Matthew Pincus at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York. Interestingly, scientists initially intended to combat HIV, until PNC showed significant ability to destroy cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unaffected.
Since then, there have been a few Pnc 27 clinical trials demonstrating its effectiveness in combatting cancer.
One of those trials includes that of Dr. Ehsan Sarafraz-Yazdi, which demonstrates how pnc-27 exerted its effects and its mechanism of action for destroying cancer cells. According to the authors of this study, pnc 27 mechanism of action results from the formation of oligomeric pores in the plasma membrane of cancer cells.
Scientists, therefore, concluded that these findings verify the unique localization of MDM2 variants in cancerous cells. They also stated that pnc-27 peptide shows great promise as a future anti-cancer treatment.
In a study from 2006, scientists discovered that pnc-28 – similar in structure and effects to pnc-27 – could selectively inhibit pancreatic cancer cell growth in vivo. They observed that the compound induced necrosis in a number of tumor cell lines, while also not affecting normal cells. This led researchers to determine if the cancer peptide could eliminate the growth of cancer cells altogether.
Researchers also found that it created a blockade of tumor growth when the peptide was administered – two weeks during the administration and two weeks after as research in animals has shown.
In addition, when the cancer peptide Pnc 27 was given after tumor growth, the tumor size decreased and slowed down the increase in tumor growth. Thus, the study concluded that this peptide might effectively kill cancer, mainly if administered directly to the cancerous tumor.
A recent study [ii] carried out in 2014 indicates that pnc-27 therapy can induce tumor cell necrosis of a leukemia cell line that relies on HDM2 expression in the plasma membrane. This caused researchers to expand their knowledge from earlier studies that pnc27 could diminish solid tissue tumor cells by attaching to hdm-2 proteins.
The experiment’s goal was to determine whether non-solid tumor cells expressed hdm-2 in their membranes, as solid tissue cells could.
Interestingly, researchers found that these non-solid tumor cells expressed HDM2 in cell membranes and that the peptide could induce necrosis the same way HDM2 binding could in solid tissue cells.
In a 2009 clinical trial of pnc 27, researchers found that the peptide’s p53 residues were superimposable on the structure for the same residues connected to hdm2. Thus, scientists concluded that pnc 27 could reach hdm-2 cancer cell membranes.
Because cancer cells have high levels of HDM in their membranes, this enables PNC-27 to specifically target the cancerous cells, while leaving healthy tissues unharmed.
Scientists also later discovered that by implanting untransformed cells not susceptible to pnc27 with hdm2, they would become vulnerable to the peptide. This provided the researchers with the proof they needed that PNC-27 peptide could target HDM-2 in the membranes of cancer cells and eliminate them via membranolysis.
Meanwhile, another study in 2010 determined that PNC-27 destroyed cancer cells as a whole peptide, rather than as fragments. Scientists wanted to know whether the pores in the cancer cell membrane were created by fragments of the peptide or by the whole peptide. This study proved it was the latter.
In the experiment, researchers learned that the entire peptide caused the effects in cancerous cells’ cell membrane, while other noncancerous cells around them remained healthy.
Due to limited research, the safety and side effects of PNC-27 are largely unknown. However, some side effects have been noted in animal studies, such as dry skin, headache, high blood pressure, nose inflammation, rectal bleeding and back pain.
As the FDA does not yet approve pnc peptide, we do not recommend using it as a therapeutic cancer treatment. Currently, PNC-27 to buy is only available to licensed researchers and medical professionals.
In animal studies, PNC-27 peptide displays different effects in successful outcomes, such as decreased pain levels within one week of getting the peptide. Within three weeks, animal subjects display flu-like symptoms, indicating that their immune systems are reacting to cancer cell death. At the six-week mark, bilirubin and lactate dehydrogenase levels increase.
It isn’t until 10 weeks that significant tumor breakdown is observed and that the tumors become softer. In some cases, there may be an increase in the site of the tumor. But this is due to the inflammation of the immune system response.
After three months, scientists state that animal subjects exhibit reduced cancer-related symptoms and heightened energy levels.
Overall, PNC-27 is classed as an effective peptide for treating cancer, and possibly even preventing it. You will easily find PNC 27 reviews online, praising the peptide for its positive effects. However, right now, it is only legally available to licensed professionals.
